The Greater Lansing Regional Committee for Stormwater Management
The Greater Lansing Regional Committee for Stormwater Management (GLRC) is a guiding body comprised of Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) communities within the Greater Lansing region. The committee guides the implementation of the stormwater program for 17 participating communities within the Grand River, the Red Cedar River and the Looking Glass River watersheds. Members work together to reduce stormwater pollution and improve watershed health throughout the region.
In addition, the GLRC has partnered with many stakeholders throughout the watershed, including conservation districts, nature centers, local environmental groups, local utilities, US Geological Survey, and major industries. The GLRC welcomes public participation and involvement, and hosts public meetings aimed at educating and motivating interested individuals to assist in the MS4 planning and implementation process.
